The Shultz Team - Ocala FL Real Estate Dynamic 5-Member Real Estate Team
Brigitte Shultz - Realtor
I was born and raised in postwar Bamberg, West Germany and speak German fluently. As an adolescent with parents of modest means, I learned early in my life the value of a frugal lifestyle and hard work. Outside sporting interest included swimming and track & field. After 1 year in England to perfect my knowledge of the English language, 1 year as VIP Hostess at Disneyland, California, 6 years in a commodity office in Omaha, Nebraska, I married Art Shultz and together we raised 4 beautiful daughters: Bettina (25), Jessica (23), Jamie (21) and Lisa (20). Lisa was born with Downs Syndrome and is the joy of all of our lives. After staying home with the girls for 15 years, I got licensed as a Realtor in August of 1993. Quickly became the #1 sales person at ERA Ruslyn Realty and in September of 1996 joined Re/Max Premier Realty. The Shultz Team was born when Art joined me in 1999 and we have been the #1 producers for Re/Max Premier Realty in all of Marion County for 5 straight years. I have enjoyed helping over 1000 families move in the last 10 years. "The biggest satisfaction I have is to see the look on people\'s faces when they are handed the key to their new home at closing."
I was born in Chickasha, a small town in Southern Oklahoma on May the 6th 1952.My father was a country lawyer with a propensity toward entrepreneurship. My mother, a 50s and 60s stay at home Mom, was part time cook, maid, comforter, cheer leader, teacher, taxi driver, social skills instructor, time manager, hygienist, philosopher, doctor with the uncanny ability to cure anything with lumps, bumps, scratches or scars and a full time disciplinarian. My three brothers and I were raised on a ranch right in the heart of the Oklahoma oil patch. As our father was the owner in a plethora of businesses including farming and ranching, the mortgage and banking business, general contractor/home builder, oil & gas exploration, commodity futures, and feedlot owner/operator; we, his sons, had a quite varied unusual educational, and to say the least, exciting upbringing. It seems that throughout my childhood, we were either riding, roping, branding, drilling, or buildingsomething. I like to say Real Estate is my profession, but I am still a cowboy at heart. My father, a brother, and I are graduates of New Mexico Military Institute and are actively engaged with the Alumni Association. For the past 14 years we have regularly attending the annual trail ride on a variety of Alum owned ranches throughout New Mexico. My formal education in Business Administration was furthered at Panhandle State College (Goodwell, Oklahoma), OklahomaUniversity (Norman, Oklahoma), and the School of Hard Knocks (Everywhere, USA).
For the past 32 years, I have enjoyed an exciting career with the gist of my endeavors focused in Real Estate, oil and gas, ranching, securities, and commodity futures (I was at one time a floor trader and member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange), however; the most intelligent career decision of my life was choosing Brigitte to spend it with.As husband and wife, our proudest accomplishment has been rearing our four wonderful and beautiful daughters in the Glory and Admonition of the Lord. I like everything about the Real Estate business: helping meet the needs of buyers and sellers, buying distressed properties and making them like new, building new houses for sale and/or rental, dealing in horse farms, buying and selling vacant land and/or lots, handling some commercial property, and interacting with a lot of fine folks on a daily basis.
Hobbies and favorite past-times include traveling to outside adventure-type vacations, horseback riding, camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, and golfing; all preferably with my family. My favorite spot on planet earth is our ranch in Channing, Texas where my parents presently reside.
Mary was born in Lacrosse Wisconsin and soon moved to Orlando in 1969. Mary moved to Ocala in 1982 for the beautiful sights and friendly atmosphere. Mary and her husband Danny raised 4 children, three boys and one girl. Mary had always dreamed of working in real estate, but with a family to take care of at home, that career choice was put on hold but worked in construction for 30 years. But Mary\'s dream soon became a reality and she started in real estate in 2001 at Re/max Premier Realty because she wanted an independent career change and loved the idea of helping people find a home in this wonderful area. Mary started with the Shultz Team in June of 2002 and has been a fabulous asset ever since. Mary\'s philosophy is: "Customer service is the #1 priority, the client always comes first."
